Nature around Kusadasi
All of the villas offered by Saray Holidays in Kuşadasi have sea views and look out to the Greek island of Samos. Some of the villas are situated amongst the hills, while others are somewhat closer to the town centre. The Milli Park, the Turkish National Park, is only a 15-minute drive away. An area of unspoiled nature on the Turkish coast can be found on the Dilek peninsula. Enjoy the peace, clean beaches and magnificent forests. This is a fantastic place for walking when you follow the designated walking routes. Please note: take adequate water with you during the summer! There is no need to be afraid, but you will probably see the occasional wild boar (they are simply curious!).
The beautiful sights of Pamukkale are approximately a two hours’ drive from the holiday home. This exceptional natural phenomenon with its limestone terraces is more than worth the visit. Pamukkale means in Turkish “cotton castle" and it can be found to the north of Denizli. The highly calciferous water flows across the numerous terraces that have formed on the slopes. The warm water (35°) is rich in calcium carbonate which forms thick deposits of lime across the terraces. The water at Pamukkale is said to possess healing properties and to help fight asthma and rheumatism.
Pamukkale is currently a tourist area and together with the nearby ancient town of Hierapolis is included on the list of UNESCO world heritage sites.
You will find a folder in the villa which includes a number of tips for excursions to the various places of natural interest in the area.
